Twan van Rhee is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a technical background in security, complemented by expertise in IT audit and risk management. Starting his career as a security researcher at TNO, he transitioned into the world of IT audit with a continuous focus on technical information security. 

Over nearly 20 years as an IT auditor across various organisations, Twan has tackled a wide range of subjects, from network security assessments to designing risk control frameworks. In 2017, he stepped into the role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Vion Food Group, where the convergence of IT and OT became an increasingly urgent theme. Since 2025, Twan has been working as a Strategic Cybersecurity Advisor at TCPM Ingenieurs en Adviseurs, where he is co-responsible for establishing the cybersecurity practice.
